In
the "Classici" chapter, the collections that have made the
history of Ceramica Ligure Vaccari over the last few decades are those
whose origins date from 1911,the year in which our factory in Ponzano
began to produce vitrified stoneware in mosaics and small sizes for
flooring. In 1954, new clay bodies were tested by adding coarse grain
minerals. More recently, with the help of sophisticated technology,
this research led to the Nucleo® series, which is the family founder
of the new generation of vitrified stoneware materials -- unique in
production technology and aesthetic result. But "Classici"
also means thousands of construction projects created using the
Nucleo®, Graniti, and Tinte Unite series. They are all products which
have made Ceramica Ligure Vaccari's vitrified stoneware, Vero®, the
most renowned and appreciated for reliability and versatility. This is
due to excellent technical characteristics, the perfect mat or
polished surfaces, the easy clean ability and adaptability of use, and
the fact that these materials require no chemical treatment after
laying for temporary protection. Further research on this material
made it possible to broaden the range of the "Classici",
giving birth to the "Marmoker" and "Travertini"
series, which feature the surface effects of natural materials but
have technical characteristics that are far superior in terms of
resistance to abrasion and absorbency -- and this means easy
maintenance and unlimited durability.
