Series KROMOS

The history of Kromos materials comes from nearby: just a few kilometers from the origin are the ruins of Luni, first founded kromos1502.jpg (330022 bytes) in the Roman era in the Ligurian region on the border with Etruria, and known by the Greeks as "Portus Lunae".  It was the city of marble.  The inspiration of the Kromos collection, the kromos1501.jpg (160118 bytes) prestigious series of the most recent generation of Ceramica Ligure Vaccari kromos1401.jpg (189860 bytes) products, can be clearly seen in these superb ruins and in the beautiful marble flooring (opus sectile), designs and mosaics which can still be admiredKromos1901.jpg (68550 bytes) today.  Kromos is the child of the most highly valued kromos2601.jpg (206530 bytes) carrara marble and its gentle veining exists through the generous 30x60 size, and in the multicolored composition offered.  Kromos offers the ideal opportunity for creating prestigious, high quality flooring, but also for refined bathroom wall coverings, complete with sabed frets, convex strips, and mirrors.
