nominated for the Compasso d'Oro 1991 in the Modular Area, and
having been chosen as a case history for the Made in Italy
ceramic production sector at the University La Sapienza in
Rome, Ceramica Catalano, during the recent IHS fair in Frankfurt
dedicated to technological innovation in home comfort, has obtained
the highly sought Design Plus international award thanks
to its Luce System. A jury of experts assigned the award
not only on the basis of excellence of design, but also for how it can
synthesize practicality and respect for the environment.
